2 05 2006The Deal: The headline pretty much says it. The Discover Platinum Gas Card offers a 0% introductory APR, 5% cash back on gas purchases and 1% back on everything else. So, at today’s prices, this card will allow you to save 15 cents per gallon or more on gas. That’s pretty significant.
What really sweetens this deal is the fact that the 5% gas rebate never expires for the life of the card. So, while some gas cards may offer a limited rebate with an expiration, this one will have you saving 5% without worrying about the deal coming to an end.
The Catch: Well, it’s still a credit card. Interest rates, late fees, etc.
